Mr. Daisaku Ikeda is the president of the Soka Gakkai International (SGI). His contributions to the promotion of culture, education and world peace have been widely recognized around the world. Until now, Mr. Ikeda has received 400 honorary doctorate degrees and professorships from renowned universities, including the University of Glasgow, the University of Denver, the University of Sydney, Fudan University, Peking University, the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
